Nick and I met Jen and Dan at a wedding show in Melbourne Beach back in late 2015. A few weeks after the show, Jen emailed us and said she would love to hire us as her wedding photographers, to which of course, we were thrilled and delighted!
When Jen and Dan arrived for their engagement session in Cocoa Village, they informed me that they were not photogenic people and that they’d never been professionally photographed before. I begged to differ and took them on their session, and showed them some of the most amazing photos they’d ever seen. Bright-eyed and smiles across their faces, they assured us that they would indeed feel great about us photographing them on their special day and had no doubts or worries about their photography.
Fast forward months later, Jen and Dan tied the knot at the Porsche House in Cocoa Village, a beautiful historic building in the heart of the village. They got ready at the reception, a house right down the block, where we traveled to after the ceremony.
Unfortunately the cupcakes did not arrive at the time they were supposed to, and Jen became extremely upset. At that moment the sun went into the perfect position, and we kidnapped Jen and Dan from their wedding to do their bride and groom portraits in a field nearby as the sun set over the trees. Their happiness on their wedding day returned.
The rest of the evening was spent dancing with huge smiles on everyone’s faces, delicious food and drinks, and memories to last a lifetime.
