If there’s one thing that’s wonderful about the digital age, it’s that love can be found in the most unexpected of places. Addie decided to try out E-Harmony for the first time in her life, took the test and matched up with only 5 people in the state of Florida. James instantly messaged her and said “E-Harmony thinks we’re a 100% perfect match, want to see if that’s true?” And sparks flew from then on forth and their love story blossomed.

Addie, being a master of craftsmanship and a highly creative individual, DIY’d a majority of the decor surrounding the wedding, including the Rebel Alliance symbol built for the ceremony, the centerpieces, and her gorgeously intricate invitations. She also made her bedazzled champagne glass and studded belt while she was getting ready. One of the services they made sure they contacted was the 501st Legion, a worldwide Star Wars costuming organization comprised of and operated by Star Wars fans, and had Stormtroopers, Ewoks, and other colorful characters from the Star Wars universe a part of the epic celebration. The most hilarious part of the day was when the bridal party saw the posters Addie and James had made of their friends superimposed onto Star Wars characters, the most emotional when James made his promise to Addie’s daughter, Tinsley, during the ceremony. The Orlando Science Center provided the perfect combination setting of galactic fun and elegant features to truly make the wedding out of this world and a mind-blowing wedding to remember!

Advice for brides planning a themed wedding;

Don’t be afraid to go all in and have fun with the way you have your wedding. Incorporating your favorite binge-worthy tv show or favorite novel growing up is a wonderful way to add a unique touch of personality to your wedding that’s entirely you. Details are key and providing the right atmosphere to have your guests in the mindset of the story you’re wanting to tell. You have to believe in it to make it real and remember to have fun with it!
